I was so happy to try the new Purex plus Oxi Laundry Detergent. I wanted to really put it to the test to see if it passed my laundry standards.
One thing that is important to me is the scent of the laundry detergent. The Purex plus Oxi detergent they sent me had a wonderful scent. It was Morning Burst. I could smell it as soon as I opened the bottle. The wonderful scent was still there after the wash. And most importantly, it still lingered after the clothes came out of the dryer.
Another important factor when doing laundry is that it removes stains. One thing that gives me a headache is tough stains. That's the downside of doing laundry because I haven't had much luck with getting out tough stains in my clothes, and I pretty much have to toss them out!
I took an old white shirt and had fun getting it dirty!
I rubbed grass, dirt, and pasted some ketchup and mustard on the shirt.
These are the stains that I hate the most and have the hardest time working with.
So...how did Purex plus Oxi do with these stains?
Here is the final result, coming out the dryer!
It got out all of the stains except for the mustard. As you can see, the mustard is very faint, but it did not completely come out.
Overall, I really enjoyed using this detergent. It successfully got out the stains that my family and I come across often, which is the dirt and grass stains, since we have a toddler that loves to get dirty!
